What is your primary product or service?
Leather holsters and gun belts, exotic leather holsters , custom one of a kind holsters, left and right handed holsters, regular belts.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I'm a craftsman before a businessman. I actually started this out as a hobby. My background is in electronic manufacturer and maintenance. I've built and repaired DOD equipment to bring our kids home since leaving the service. I started this because I couldn't find a gun holster that fit me right. I found I liked doing it a lot. Since then , I've built holsters for almost all my friends. Then, their friends and it's grown from there. Now I have been doing gun shows in southern Florida for three years. My business is growing every day I'm very excited about the future
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
In my area there and many, many holsters available from many, many retailers and very few leathersmiths makers. I MAKE a holster for the individual. If i'm given the chance to talk to the customer i want to know how he wants to use this holster. Even what is his body type. I fill I'm sending him out into the public, and I want the best for him, or her. A firearm it a serious item to wear. I want him/her to be confident they will get home too.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just one and not at this time
