Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Windsurfing, and Kayaking.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We started out as windsurfers, enjoying the beach and water on our time off. When the opportunity came to take over the business, we jumped. In the 24+ years of our ownership, we have added stand up paddle boarding and kayaking. Ovidio is a U.S. Sailing Master Instructor. Karen is actually a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and, as such, an tell you that time on the water is good for your mental health!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We emphasize customer service and safety. We want you to leave the beach with happy memories. Seeing folks return and bring their friends and family tells us we are doing something right. Time on the water, unplugged, is good for all of us.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just the one. Rickenbacker Causeway is an ideal location for accessing the water safely and easily. Parking is immediately adjacent to us and the equipment is on the shoreline--it doesn't get any easier than that. A bathroom with outdoor shower is just a few steps away.

We can be difficult to find your first time out so please pay attention to the details on our website. We are correctly listed on Waze and Uber. Otherwise, use the GPS coordinates GPS Coordinates: N25.74569 W80.192368. We are 3/4 of a mile after the toll plaza entrance to Key Biscayne, on the right side, just before the tall Powell Bridge.
What type of payments do you accept?
Credit card required for all rentals (Visa, MC, Discover, Amex). Cash or credit for payment.
Which areas do you service?
All of South Florida.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Ovidio and Karen DeLeon
What are your hours of operation?
Normally 5 days a week, 10:00 - 6:00 (we close a bit earlier during daylight savings). Open additional days during major holidays and summertime.
